Yeah, but the Tarantulas weren't virtualized; The Krabs were.

WHAT?!?!?! Surely you joust! EVERYONE knows the badly-named Tarantulas are the coolest!!!! (arf?)

Say, maybe we need a Sondage on this -- the French kids have one:

(in which the Méduse is doing surprisingly (and irritatingly) well....)

kagetsu a écrit:How 'bout Frolion? I can't translate that either.

Frolion sound like "frelon", which mean hornet in french.

EDIT:
garooob a écrit:Well, it's not a direct translation. Kankrelat doesn't come up as anything on Reverso. Maybe it's some kind of slang?
(Roach in French is Gardon. Cockroach is Cafard.)

We have few words in french for cockroach : "blatte" (from latine blatta), "cancrelat" (from deutsh kakkerlak), "cafard", and "meunier".

Message par kagetsu » 31 Déc 2005, 02:55

Little nazi hornmelons?

How 'bout Frolion? I can't translate that either.

Krabs are still the coolest. Though the Kank's have been hilarious this season.

Message par garooob » 30 Déc 2005, 06:16

Actually, they look more like cyclops skulls with little legs. Kinda creepy, huh?

I had no idea that kankrelat (sp) was roach in French. They don't resemble roaches. But Odd did call them that, forgot which episode. I remember because he had to quit fighting to take Aelita to the tower (I think) and he said, "You got lucky, Kanker-creeps!"

I like the mantas. They're pretty. Except for the poop-bombs.

Here's one. Crabs have 6 legs, like an insect.

Message par exo » 26 Nov 2005, 17:08

Can yer post a side picture of a block? I want to know how many legs they have.

Message par garooob » 09 Nov 2005, 05:13

Also, I think the Creepers don't need to be hit on their X.A.N.A.'s eye symbol to be destroyed. Check out when they're fighting in Sector 5. I seem to remember this Creeper stuff happening there.

Blocks have udders! Oh man, that's too funny.
Have you noticed that the Creepers are the only creatures that leave digital guts behind when they explode?

Message par exo » 08 Nov 2005, 22:04

First the mantas poo bombs, now Blocks have udders?! Ugh...me no likey.

From what I've been seeing, the Creepers seem to be the dumbest monsters. For one thing, they seem to only have around 50 max. life points.

Their Eye (which myself and the other more philisophical fans of code lyoko like to call the Eye of Xanadu) is very exposed, but they have the efficient ability to slither along the walls of Carthage to snipe out Odd and the gang with their very fast and powerful laser beams.

One more thing, is this a French or American website, because most of the forum articles are in English but I've only been able to figure out what everything else means via information from books or raw wit.

Bye Now!

The scyphozoa/medusa is more like a jellyfish, I think.

The tarantulas? I think I agree with the mantis comparison.
