Dear lyokofans around the world,

A little news to inform you that the Code Lyoko Evolution series is now announced outside of France, in at least nine countries, for an upcoming broadcast!

The first winners are:
- Belgium
- Portugal
- Poland
- Finland
- Israel
- Thailand
- Indonesia
- Russia

- For the USA, it's a bit more complicated: Cartoon Network apparently not wishing to buy another season with live action, producers are looking for another television network. Meanwhile the series will be broadcasted through Kabillion, the Video On Demand (VOD) channel of the Moonscoop group. It is available in 50% of U.S. households and by streaming on the internet. The first episode is scheduled in February.

For the 8 other countries, the show should be broadcasted on the same TV channels as Code Lyoko.

Additional countries will be announced very soon, so keep in touch with codelyoko.net and the Yumi2004 international forum!

May the Lyokoforce be with you!

Yeah! That's great! We are the first website about Code Lyoko, after all! ;)

It would be a good idea to publish it on the homepage of codelyoko.net...
Maybe a sentence tomorrow with the news about episode #6 ? To ensure more visibility ?

Thursday we announced that Code Lyoko Evolution is coming to Kabillion on February 28th...

But it appears that it's only a sneak peek, just a premiere for episode #5 ("Rivalry"), which is a filler episode. Therefore the dates for the regular airing are not yet announced...

We will update this feed and our twitter as soon as new informations will be available.

Thanks to @Georgesab for this news!

Paris, 4th February 2013: Leading kids and animation distributor MoonScoop is bringing the popular adventures of its hit 2D/3D animated series Code Lyoko to Russia signing a deal with TNT. The national Russian Free TV broadcaster has picked up the first two seasons of the show highlighting its international appeal.

The show just launched on TNT on January 28th and airs every morning from Monday to Friday at 7:00am.

Code Lyoko toys will also be available in Russia for the first time. The toys, from master toy partner Simba, will be launched in the market via local agent Icon Promotion.

A MoonScoop production co-produced with France Televisions and Canal J, Code Lyoko has become one of the top animated shows on France Televisions since its launch in September 2003 with its 97 half hours episodes.

The deal with TNT follows sales over 100 countries to broadcasters including Radio Canada, Rai Gulp Italy, Canal Panda in Portugal, Megamax in Hungary, Czech Republic and Romania, MTV Oy in Finland, Canal+ in Poland, RTBF and 2Be in Belgium, Okto in Singapore, Truevisions in Thailand...

US premiere

Thursday, February 28 was aired in the U.S. episode #5 "Rivalry" of Code Lyoko Evolution. It was the opportunity to heard for the first time the english dub of the new series.

As announced before, this sneak peek was released by Kabillion, the VOD channel of the Moonscoop group for the USA.
Surprisingly, this video does not include territorial restrictions (frequently used by Kabillion), which means that it was available from everywhere in the world. The file was finally removed after 5 days.

The quality of the English dub is criticized, as the voices of the animated series were not reused. In addition, we may notice some small differences with the French version regarding the image itself. Indeed, in the version aired in the U.S., the amount of remaining source code is displayed on the screen during a specter attack, as you can see here:

However, this choice for this episode for the english premiere is relatively strange...

Finally, even if this episode was aired, regular airing dates for the US are not yet announced. We can nevertheless assume that the production is still looking for a television network that would provide a much greater exposure compared to a VOD channel.
