Well, what do you think about Ulrich? Do you like him, his character and everything else or not?

Ulrich is my favourite character but everybody knows that

Ulrich's a good character, I think. He's a little quiet, and doesn't seem to express all of his emotions openly. However, I think he's a tad bit flakey in his handling of relationships. Like, he had such a great deal of trouble dealing with Yumi and telling her the truth after he kissed Sissie. But, I guess he was probably nervous and afraid that she would get mad.

I think Ulrich needs to chill out a bit. He's so uptight. It shows, like what Le10em said, in his handling of relationships. If there really is a new boy in season 2, I think Ulrich is going to be very unhappy, even if he doesn't really interfere with himself and Yumi.

I like his behaviour, he knows how to fight, he plays football, all the girls felt in love seing him , and despite all , he is shy and he doesn't dare telling the truth to yumi . like garooob said the arrival of a new boy could change ulrich .
I think it could create a kind of competition and I won't like it , besides, that's why I don't like the episod " claustrophobia ", the new boy isn't interested by Yumi ( but by sissi ) and yet, he is a bit similar to ulrich ( he plays football, same kind of clothes etc ... ) as if he were here to take over from him. I hope the new character ( I was told his name is william ) will have his style and won't be like ulrich .

He likes to be in charge but doesn't lead well. His trouble with Yumi is probably the mixed signals she gives him. He had no trouble figuring out what Emilie wanted and he reads Sissi like a book.

According to the Homepage "Mail boxe" Ulrich's older brother is a lawyer.
So, his brother must be pretty smart.
But, Ulrich's grades are not so great.
He must feel a lot of pressure be successful at what he does best, sports.

Sometimes people make more out of something than what they should.
Maybe his parents bug him about his grades. Maybe they sometimes compare him to his brother the lawyer. But Ulrich might blow things a little out of proportion.

That kind of burden on Ulrich's shoulders might make him feel a little lonely and unworthy.

mc trooper i didn't know that ulrich's older brother was a lawyer but i trust you, and you're right concerning the feelings ulrich must have : a loneliness which must be increased by the fact he is in a boarding school, as if his parents didn't pay enough attention to him . It must be difficult for such a young boy and it easily explains his loneliness .

Ulrich having a brother was a bit of a surprize to me too.
I thought Ulrich was an only child until I saw that info.

Yes with this quotation, it becomes a bit ambiguous,
Perhaps this is just an unfounded rumour , but it may well be a real new , we don't know ... it won't bother me if Ulrich realy had an older brother and it would be cool if we learnt it in the second season

Poor, unloved Ulrich, with his thread at the bottom of the page! I'll bring it back up! What is it with him, though, that makes it so he's all alone down here? Is it maybe his undying devotion to Yumi that makes it so hard to gossip and speculate about him?

I don't know. Despite being angsty, having bad relationships with his parents and a crush on Yumi, we never seem to comment on him. I think he's just a confused kid. He's under pressure from all sides: Lyoko and X.A.N.A., his dad, school, Jim and sports, Yumi. I wonder what would make him happy?

Right now I'm pretty sure he has no brothers or sisters. I think there may have been an episode where they made that clear, but I don't remember.
