I think the most electrifying moment in all of Code Lyoko Saison 1 was when Aelita showed up in the real world, in a cloud of smoke, and in fetal position yet! That was somethin'! (Yes, I found that more exciting than the notorious almost-smooch of Y & U.)

Anyway, if she is going to spend some time in the real world in Saison 2, they are going to have to gloss over some devastating problems that she would have to encounter, socially, physically, academically, etc., etc. But it is going to be fun, anyway.

I love that scene. It's so intense, it's like the culmination of the whole series in a way. And now that I think about it, I love that red hair of hers.

Yeah, it seems like there are a lot of little difficulties that they'll have to minimize later on when she's semi-permanently on earth in season 2. But it should be awesome, Jeremie and the others can just talk to her in person, instead of always having to try to find a computer.

I worry about what would happen when the reality of Reality hits. How about when her first case of the grippe strikes, or when puberty first hits, or the first time some goon in the metro gropes her? She is going to be beating on Jer's door and screaming to be digitized back to Lyoko and all those relatively agreeable krabbes and cubes! Brrr!

One would only hope that Yumes will clue her in in a hurry. At the very least, she is going to need to fend off Jer when he (inevitably) gets steamed up....

yeah, those are quite some of the large downsides to reality, especially after coming out of a secluded computer universe for your whole life

but hopefully the others'll be able to fill her in on things quickly enough. i'm sure we won't be filled in on ALL of those details of her life

, but we'll see what happens.

speaking about the moment Aelita showed up in the real world, I just want to add I hate her clothes on earth, this little kurt makes her looking totally powerless, I prefered when she is on lyoko .
I hope that, in the second season, men of Antefilm will change this detail

That's an interesting point about A's clothing. Her outfit on Lyoko really is great, isn't it?

I'm not sure to all have understand ( particulary the end ) but you make me think of something that I have never though before :You're right, Aelita will be on earth, with no past nor proper family and identity, all these problems may well arouse lots of suspicions. I really hope Antefilm have developped this point of view ...

Speaking about Aelita, I think she will win lots of importance in the second season, firstly because of her new coming on earth ( with all the problems which will appear ) and secondly because she is the alone character who is able to stop Xana's attacks . It'll be interesting and I hope she won't have arms on Lyoko, it enable antefilm not to change too much things, and it promises good scenes with monsters runnig after Aelita and the others trying to protect her : both intense and frustrating ... I want the second season now !!!

That was a great scene too, but my favorite Aelita in the real world scene is when Jeremie walks Aelita to Yumi's home. The moment is so sweet / romantic. The music in that scene is great.

Some of the quotes I like . .

Aelita: Where are you going?
Jeremie: To the cafeteria. They've got brussel sprouts today. You know what they are?
Aelita: Yes, but I don't know what they taste like. Are they good?

Jeremie: I already did. That's not where I went wrong. Stop chewing my slipper!

Aelita raises her eyebrows and stairs blankly at Jeremie.

I like aelita, without her the wouldn't be any story, but she isn't my favourite character. I prefer Ulrich, because he is the best warrior, he has very useful powers.

Yes maybe you're right, but even if it happens a bit too fast, it's so funny to see Jeremy's behaviour after this scene, he looks proud of him and he turns back to school whistling ... :roll:

I don't think Jeremie is entirely ready for girls, even Aelita, and I think she knows it. That's why he gets a "thankyou kiss" on the cheek. I see them more as devoted friends. I like her earth outfit. It's a little "mature" for her age (she seems to behave about the same as Jeremie so I figure about twelve) but she really cute. Her Lyoko outfit, while cute too, looks a little too much like jimjams. Her first materialization was really cool, but Yumi returns all curled up too. materialization must be rough.

It would be funny if Jer caught Aelita in her underwear. His whole face would be red and he wouldn't be able to talk to her all day, but then Aelita'd be like clueless. All the main girl characters have been shown in their underwear, but her.

Jérémie wouldn't know what to do! I think Aelita's adjusted to the real world enough that she'd probably understand that girls usually don't appear in their underwear in front of boys.
