Should her friendship with Ulrich go into more detail? Especially since William's in season two, from badly translated summaries I got out that Ulrich is jealous or something.

Yes! Emily is really nice
We didn't see her in the season 2 so, I don't know if she will be an important character
but, maybe, if Ulrich is jealous of William, he will kiss her
but I don't hope so because I like too much the couple Yumi/ulrich
