There's NO way that thing could move sideways! The main
slot-shoe may pivot into a horizontal slot, but the other two
arms don't have any way of moving sideways because they
don't have corresponding horizontal slots. (Why doesn't
XANA consult with me before doing these things?)

Ok, so I have to wonder about the operation of the Overbike. Sometimes it shows Ulrich rolling back on the left handlebar, sometimes the right. Same with his levers: brake, clutch, afterburner? Did the animators or writers just not decide on a single system of operation? Being a biker, it's important for me to know these things. hahaha
