Episode #119 - Temporal Paradox

Hi! Below there is the summary of the episode (by the Subsonics, found on Sandra's Facebook page)

As they're leaving to deactivate a tower on the Cortex, Aelita, Odd and Ulrich fall into a trap set by Ikonov. They find themselves trapped in a strange sphere that propels them several hours back in time in the middle of gym class. There, they frightfully realise that they are prisoners of a temporal loop. There's only one solution to get out of it: warn Jeremy. But how do they do that, when they're not in the same space-time?

A detailed summary is also available on Wikia.

And, last but not least, we have a surprise for you ^. Come back in 15 minutes ;)

While Aelita and Yumi are on a misson at the Cortex, a spectre attacks at the school. They are unable to contact Odd and Ulrich, so the girls must make a u-turn to deactivate the tower. Unfortunately, Yumi is devirtualized… Things follow one after the other when Odd loses all his codes to the spectre, followed by Ulrich! It’s a massacre! Aelita is the last one able to deactivate the tower…

Actually, that's the summary for Massacre.

Hi,

I'm currently creating subtitles for this episode. I'll upload the .srt file when it's done, so far I've done 2 minutes.

Sure! I'd say my English is quite good and I'm trying my best to get the timings right, but any help is appreciated. :)

Here is my progress so far (4 minutes). I'll continue it tomorrow (probably after 11:00 UTC+2 or later).

  Code:
1
00:00:58,500 --> 00:01:00,900
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">Hurry, Odd! I'm sure you can go faster!</font>

2
00:01:01,400 --> 00:01:04,100
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">Don't worry, Jeremie.
I still have reserves.</font>

3
00:01:06,900 --> 00:01:10,400
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">So far, you beat Yumi by 23
seconds and Aelita by 37.</font>

4
00:01:10,900 --> 00:01:12,400
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">Hold on tight, it will shake!</font>

5
00:01:15,300 --> 00:01:16,300
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">Transfer!</font>

6
00:01:20,600 --> 00:01:22,400
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">Come on, come on, come on!</font>

7
00:01:38,900 --> 00:01:40,000
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff0080">We are here, Jeremie.</font>

8
00:01:41,500 --> 00:01:44,700
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">22 minutes and 12 seconds. New
record, you're good, Odd!</font>

9
00:01:45,300 --> 00:01:46,300
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">Yeah!</font>

10
00:01:46,700 --> 00:01:50,800
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">When we inject the virus into Tyron's
computer, you will drive the Megapod.</font>

11
00:01:51,300 --> 00:01:53,000
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">I know, I'm the best.</font>

12
00:01:53,700 --> 00:01:58,500
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#8000ff">Nature is interesting. Tyron is not just
evil, but he also has an evil head.</font>

13
00:01:58,900 --> 00:02:00,700
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">Ulrich, to your place! You're next.</font>

14
00:02:01,300 --> 00:02:05,500
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">Jeremie, couldn't you turbo up Ulrich's bike
so that he has at least a slight chance?</font>

15
00:02:05,500 --> 00:02:08,700
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ffff00">Or send a suitcase in which Odd can
pack his lame jokes.</font>

16
00:02:08,700 --> 00:02:11,200
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">Stay focused, the training
isn't finished yet!</font>

17
00:02:13,600 --> 00:02:16,800
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff0080">Err, Jeremie, is it okay that the
Megapod disappeared?</font>

18
00:02:17,200 --> 00:02:19,200
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">No, it's not.</font>

19
00:02:19,200 --> 00:02:21,200
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">I'll send it right back.</font>

20
00:02:27,000 --> 00:02:29,400
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">Something is wrong, and I
don't know what causes it.</font>

21
00:02:29,500 --> 00:02:30,800
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#8000ff">What now, Jeremie?</font>

22
00:02:30,900 --> 00:02:32,900
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">Okay, today's training is now over.</font>

23
00:02:32,900 --> 00:02:35,600
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ffff00">And... How will we get back from here?</font>

24
00:02:35,650 --> 00:02:37,150
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">On foot.</font>

25
00:02:37,500 --> 00:02:42,500
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">I love your training plan, Jeremie, next
time I'll consider whether I should come.</font>

26
00:02:42,500 --> 00:02:44,700
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">You're funny, Odd. I love your humor.</font>

27
00:02:47,300 --> 00:02:49,800
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">I don't understand. That
wasn't meant to be a joke.</font>

28
00:02:59,700 --> 00:03:00,900
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff0080">Did you reconfigure it?</font>

29
00:03:00,900 --> 00:03:02,300
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">Yes, I've tried everything.</font>

30
00:03:03,400 --> 00:03:05,300
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">I don't understand where's the error.</font>

31
00:03:06,500 --> 00:03:08,300
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">I can't virtualize vehicles.</font>

32
00:03:09,300 --> 00:03:10,700
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">I worked on it all night.</font>

33
00:03:13,000 --> 00:03:13,900
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">I'm going back.</font>

34
00:03:13,900 --> 00:03:15,900
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ffff00">Wait! And the PE lesson?</font>

35
00:03:15,900 --> 00:03:18,500
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ffff">I'm exempted. That's the
upside of wrist sprain.</font>

36
00:03:23,100 --> 00:03:25,400
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ffff00">Let's hope he won't get
a brain sprain as well.</font>

37
00:03:34,300 --> 00:03:35,300
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">Call me, call me!</font>

38
00:03:35,500 --> 00:03:37,600
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ffff00">Hey Odd! Are you okay?</font>

39
00:03:38,600 --> 00:03:41,400
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">I can't talk now. I'm waiting
for a very important call.</font>

40
00:03:41,800 --> 00:03:42,800
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff0080">A girl?</font>

41
00:03:43,200 --> 00:03:47,099
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">Nope. Even better. Pumpkin
Invasion hyper-mega concert.</font>

42
00:03:47,700 --> 00:03:50,800
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">I can't wait for them to call me back
to tell whether there are tickets left.</font>

43
00:03:50,800 --> 00:03:54,200
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">Pumpkin Invasion! Pumpkin Invasion!
It will be awesome!</font>

44
00:03:57,000 --> 00:03:58,300
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#00ff00">You could be more careful.</font>

45
00:03:58,300 --> 00:03:59,300
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#ff8000">Sorry, Laura.</font>

46
00:04:00,800 --> 00:04:04,300
<font face="Trebuchet MS" color="#cc0000">Come on, wimps! Stop being lazy!
Go inside, and stay quiet!</font>

Thank you, really! I uploaded your file here (srt format). I checked it, it looks OK (just a little bug at 3:43). The associated video file (to use with) is here.

If you want help on english grammatical issues, ask brenster21.

I will be out until next week, so good luck for your (hard) work :D

No problem. :) Also, thanks for that higher quality video. What's the "bug" you found? I haven't noticed a timing issue in my subtitle editor, and I'm not sure how I should write that "hyper-mega concert" thing, if that's what you're referring to.

Ooops, sorry, it's my fault: when I created the srt file, a line was suppressed, which caused timing issue. Now, everything is OK! For the rest, I think your translation is clear and the timing correct!

Team Subsonics already released a subbed version. I must say they're really fast. But thanks for your efforts anyway ;)

It's alright, I did this only because I wanted to try myself at subbing. And to be honest, I've been wanting to do this much earlier, but I've been procrastinating, and I only realized Team Subsonics has already subbed episodes up to #23 after I've started subbing. :P
