Never been there ;)

As for the menu:

serie -> show (appears 3 times)
logs -> history
derived products -> merchandise
Format sequence MIDI -> MIDI sequence format
Click on reading -> Click on play button

Some little things I noticed on the home page:

The Site of Code Lyoko -> The Code Lyoko Site
in bottom -> at the bottom
Aired of Code Lyoko -> Airing of Code Lyoko
monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday -> Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
feed RSS -> RSS feed
Opéra -> Opera

Yes, the index page was first translated by Ben or Quentin with a translation programme (:x beurrrk) before I took on the english section. Then I corrected it (a lot of mistakes :pale:), but i didn't point out this detail...

*ready for some tomatoes in the face*

Why not ? Some tomato juice on your blue fur... :twisted:

Message par Sonic Hachelle-Bee » 29 Mar 2006, 14:36

Really, that's good, I have to say. Nice work! I really can't do anything better.

But once going to the English section, I was a little surprised by a small detail that still unfixed:

"Welcome on www.codelyoko.net"

Well, I know there are some mistakes, and that's just normal (even on french or spanish sections). But hey, that's just nice to wecome new people properly, huh? What's about:

"Welcome to www.codelyoko.net"

It's a fact, only bad French-to-English translated websites mention "Welcome on" really (translator programs powaaa!). What's about making our beloved website look a bit more serious for newcomers? 8)

:oops:
I did that only when the text was already signed (in the characters' descriptions especially) ; I can mention Garooob in the index of the descriptions of places, or add general thanks.

The translator is credited at the end of each text. And, of course, we will all be named in the Pulitzer Prizes for Literature when they are awarded.Image

I love the pictures for the three sections! Who created them? I would like to tell them what an astounding job they did.

Message par Pete » 29 Mar 2006, 02:58

Typy's right.

I thank, in the name of the whole team : Chauve-Souris and Garooob, who translated texts ; Exo, who fixed some of my translations ; Sonic Hachelle-Bee, who wrote an Aelita's description.
Your help was very useful and nice :)

The whole website would require a nice Spring cleaning, especially with season 2. Good thing to have a deadline and have some plans, but I don't really want to do that exercise 2 times, just because the first one was rushed. Think about it...

Image Geez, I never know what's going on.... What's this about a deadline, and rushing to do this project? I don't see anything on yumi'04 about a larger issue -- do I need to go to the Site to get the full picture? (The Site is a pain when you're on dial-up, so I generally avoid it.)

Chauve-Souris a écrit:But, anyhoo, THIS, yumi2004, is "Quentin's forum", right? So is "his website" also primarily about Code Lyoko? Should we already know (i.e., URL of) his existing website? Are we talking about www.codelyoko.net, or otherwise?

Sorry, I didn't specify it :pale:. This is http://www.codelyoko.net/FRA/

Anyhoo, I'd be glad to help out if I can....

Ok, I send you some work :)

I DO agree with you... I was warned only on monday that the translation achievement was null, so I decided to recruit a translation team here and I took on the coordination.
