Their COLD relationship was something I found very depressing about that episode. Geez, after getting him down on a wild goose chase from Eastern Slobovia, or wherever, Jer was neither appreciative nor apologtic nor hospitable. Wouldn't you think that Jer would say,"Hey, Dad, as long as you're here, why don't we go out for some burgers and get up-to-date on things?" Or: "Come on in and meet the gang!" Or SOMETHING!

I liked it, but the second he said "I'm Franz Hopper" I could have told you the rest of the episode before I had seen it.
I disagree, exo. Even if Yumi dies every episode, it's not real. This time it was. They should have come together to try to find a way to save her. I don't think they had any right to get mad at Jérémie, because it's not like he was trying to hurt Yumi.
J's dad was pretty cool. I wonder what his job is?

I think this would have been better suited for Halloween! As long as Cartoon Network is screwing around with things, why not change that around?
I noticed that something was wrong: Jim said that the girls' floor is upstairs and the boys' floor is downstairs. Earlier, Sissi told Aelita that there was an extra shower upstairs - the boy's shower!
This was another episode with funky editing.

I'd have to say that X.A.N.A.'s attack was not quite as flashy as his other attacks. And thus, not as exciting.[/color]

I thought it was a good episode actually, but disappointing, of course, because it's not the real Hopper. I could kinda see though why they'd be on Jeremie's case though, because Yumi was practically dying each time, according to Franz/X.A.N.A. I don't think Yumi herself was as mad as she was saddened by it. Jer's dad was real cool though. I would think that if X.A.N.A. gave them upgraded weapons Jeremie could figure out how to give them the upgrades too.

I have dozens of complaints, but my main one is exactly what Rooobs said. If anyone thinks the Lyokids were tough on Ulr for playing the lottery, this one is ten times as bad. Geez, friends don't treat friends like that when they make a well-meaning mistake. EXCEPT FOR AELITA, THEY WERE REALLY NASTY TO POOR JER!

I could rave on, with numerous "how-could"s and "why-would"s, but I think it's a hopeless subject. Suffice it to say that if the episode's title led anyone to expect that there would be some explanation of FranZANA's and Aelita's origins, they were doomed to disappointment.
