Ok, what's this? amazon.com
"Code Lyoko: First Season (Sub Edit) DVD"
Subtitled region 1 Code Lyoko DVDs? I hate you, Funimation, for not releasing this earlier. Of course I'll buy it. I'll have to keep an eye out for more info on it...

Sweet motherload rooobs! Thirteen bucks! As for the action figures, why is William in Teddy Godzilla? They still look like lousy prototypes. Plus, there's so many better scenes from Mr. Puck on Earth, but they had to use one from Lyoko. I want X.A.N.A. Jeremie, but I doubt I'll never get it. I don't think we've ever heard of those remote controlled figs before though.

Yeah, the rc vehicals are a novel idea. I agree, the action figures and statues still don't look that great. There's still time, though...

"What's this?" indeed. What the heck is a Sub Edit? I followed the Amazon link, and then their Internet Movie Database link, but I didn't see anything obvious there. At that point I got a case of dial-up-nerves and quit.

So, what could apply to the entire season in general?ImageI really don't get it....

All three Code Lyoko DVDs have said "edit." There's really nothing edited about it, though. Probably just labled that way because it's for kids.
As for "sub," sounds like these DVDs might be subtitled. And if that's the case, they'll have the French dub. (Or in a crazy turn of events, maybe it will be subtitled in French.)

I can't find the site anymore, but yesterday I saw from what I think was the official manufacturer's site some new ones for fourth-quarter. Dress up items, Ulrich's headband and katana and Odd's gloves and projectile launcher.

I ordered the Un Monde Sans Danger CD from amazon.com today! It should arrive sometime around the end of July...

I just saw new pictures of the playsets. Looks like October has Mr. Puck's factory scene, probably the best scene in the series thus far. I've said the others looked like prototypes, and it looks like I was right. These new pictures are really promising.

All the way at the bottom. I'm not sure when it's being implemented, but I hear Toy Biz (which makes Marvel and the Lyoko figures) is being diminished with a new liscensing deal with Hasbro. So if there's figures in 2007 it'll be from Hasbro or some other company depending on prior agreements made with Marvel and Moonscoop.

How cool! And they are much better than the first photos. Ulrich looks neat with the bike...

I agree; I thought this batch looked better, though the pictures aren't that great.

Even series 2 Odd is available.

Edit: Yes, they are available. My local 'R' had Series one and two Ulrich, but I only purchased the virtualization chamber. It's a disappointment. I originally thought these figures were pocket sized, but the chamber is seven inches and the figure itself is about five and a half. Figure, being singular; Earth-Ulrich is only his frontal half cut vertically and attached to the chamber. The coloring was changed on Lyoko-Ulrich for the worse; areas of tan are orange and areas of brown are pink. It's also sloppily articulated, his waste spins for no apparent reason, and the head is disporportionate. This may be just the animation though. THe chamber's spinning mechanism also doesn't lock, it only has buttons to stop. All in all, not worth the overly priced nine dollars. It should have been smaller and less priced. This is the same company that makes Marvel Legends too, the best figures on the market.

Edit the double post if you want, I just figured if I edited after 27 days there'd be no attention to the edit.

Oh dang. I haven't seen that before! I'll have to buy it.
Why would they release some "best of" DVDs and then a whole season set? It kind of angers me.

I got my Un Monde Sans Danger CD today! I was surprised that it was in a cardboard sleeve rather than a jewel case, but that's ok. When I put it in the computer, the video clip immediately started playing. It starts out the same as the Un Monde Sans Danger video that's on the DVDs, but there were clips from season 2, so it was a new video. It's also got Un Monde Sans Danger and a kareoke version. And for our European friends, you can text LYOKO to 82800 and get a Code Lyoko ringtone!

I was wondering if it had both lyrics and kareoke,,, wait,,, it's the French version too?

I'm waiting for the first review of the season dvd to see if there are any catches, but I really want that.

I forgot to mention that it's imported from France. So it's the French version and the kareoke version.

Don't worry, when the CL season 1 set comes out, I'll be sure to let you know how it is.
