Hey, do you have a picture with the "Ed-vice" banner? That takes up about 150% of the screen!

I don't think I've seen (or noticed) that one recently. (I'm getting pretty good at mentally blocking them, as long as they don't make any noise. The audio-over ones invariably drive me into a blind, screaming rage!)

If you know where (or when) they occurred, let me know. Meanwhile I'll take a look. I have numerous things I want to "dig up", now that the 38+50 work is done. (I just wish we could search video files like we can text files, but that would be pretty far-fetched....)

edit: Say, come to think of it, we probably could search vector-based graphics for text! But we're messing with bitmaps here, ain't we....

Yeah. I hate those banners. I usually ignore them, but sometimes they're so colorful and big that you can't help but want to throw something at the TV.

Yes, they are incredibly annoying. It doesnt' help that some of the shows they advertise for suck horribly and should be replaced with code lyoko or avatar or something actually worth watching. And instead of making want to watch these shows, it makes me want to avoid them as much as possible.
