Need for translators

Dear anglophone fans,

Quentin is building an english version of his website, therefore he needs native english-speakers or very good french anglophones to translate some pages.

If you want to take part in the team, say it here. It would be nice and helpful.

It'd be cool to be a part of something....except I can't translate, so I could only sharpen phrasing so the translated stuff doesn't sound awkward.

Pete: Your use of the Uncle Sam poster was a riot! Image

But, anyhoo, THIS, yumi2004, is "Quentin's forum", right? So is "his website" also primarily about Code Lyoko? Should we already know (i.e., URL of) his existing website? Are we talking about www.codelyoko.net, or otherwise?

Hey Gringo! Do you really think I'm THAT good? Anyway, thank you. ;)

CS a écrit:Pete: Your use of the Uncle Sam poster was a riot!

What's funny here is that I have even not noticed it wasn't a part of his signature...

What's not funny here is that we should have been warned sooner... Now, this website translation looks quite rushed.

Sure! ^^

Sorry, I didn't specify it :pale:. This is http://www.codelyoko.net/FRA/

Anyhoo, I'd be glad to help out if I can....

Ok, I send you some work :)

I DO agree with you... I was warned only on monday that the translation achievement was null, so I decided to recruit a translation team here and I took on the coordination.

The whole website would require a nice Spring cleaning, especially with season 2. Good thing to have a deadline and have some plans, but I don't really want to do that exercise 2 times, just because the first one was rushed. Think about it...

I'm a little shy about correcting someones English here, but I'm also available as a proofreader to bring semantics and such in line. Actual translation is not my strength.

Image Geez, I never know what's going on.... What's this about a deadline, and rushing to do this project? I don't see anything on yumi'04 about a larger issue -- do I need to go to the Site to get the full picture? (The Site is a pain when you're on dial-up, so I generally avoid it.)

Typy's right.

I thank, in the name of the whole team : Chauve-Souris and Garooob, who translated texts ; Exo, who fixed some of my translations ; Sonic Hachelle-Bee, who wrote an Aelita's description.
Your help was very useful and nice :)

I love the pictures for the three sections! Who created them? I would like to tell them what an astounding job they did.

The translator is credited at the end of each text. And, of course, we will all be named in the Pulitzer Prizes for Literature when they are awarded.Image
