LOL

It's not yet 6:00 PM EST. You have to wait still one hour before it starts I think :D

Saint Valentines Day did not live up to expectations. I was disappointed. Mr. Puck is still my favorite episode.

EPI. 32: Welllllll.....
-
I agree exactly with Mr. exo. It wasn't the greatest.
-
(If Clem promises to send me a "DEPUTY" badge when she becomes Peef of Chaleese, she may continue to read this.)
--Yumes kisses Bill (but only to spite Ulr).
--Sis comes within 2 cm of kissing Ulr (but his phone rings).
--Ael kisses Jer (but only to get him to do something).
-
Totals:
-Pecks on the cheek: 2
-Kisses on the mouth: 0
-
I have said that I would like to see Ael kill something? Well, she knocks the snot out of Yumes on Lyoko (but only becasue she's under you-know-who's control).
-
Everyone spent most of the episode hating everyone else. Yuk!
Sissi is such a charmer. When she gives Ulrich a Valentine's envelope and he hesitates to open it, she utters the romantic line, "C'MON, OPEN IT, STUPID!"
More fooling with that pesky medusa. Get rid of that thing!!! :boum:

garooob a écrit:... they'll start showing it Wednesday at 7:30 EST/PST as well, starting with New Order #26. Who knows how the mind of Cartoon Network works...

That's just weird! If it were being done on Friday, when they show all the kids' stuff instead of Adult Swim, I could understand it -- but Wednesday?
-
Geez, if the French kids find out we're getting SIX eps/wk, "blood will run in the streets like wine", just like on the first Bastille day. Those poor guys. And it's making me feel guilty. It's like sitting in a restaurant, eating chow, and having a starving person looking in the window at you. Not fun.... :oeil:
-
But thanks, exo & Garooob. I probably would have missed it if not for you.

We definately got our hopes way up for this one, but it didn't live up to our dreams... Too bad. This was definitely an episode that went too fast. I think it could have easily been an hour or more.
So... William? He gave Yumi roses and she accepted them to make Ulrich mad, who accepted Sissi's gift of a concert ticket. I know Ulrich doesn't really like Sissi, but what are Yumi's feelings?
Also, why was Odd being a jerk to Jérémie? Why did he have to keep implying that he gave Aelita the pendant? (Did Odd get anything for Valentine's Day?) Oh and who was that random kid who X.A.N.A. posessed? Aarrrg! I guess this episode was kind of frustrating.
Also, I agree with exo; Mr. Puck was the best so far!

You have all :smack: from me because thanks for answering me

Some thoughts on St. Valentine's Day revisited:

Ulrich says (something like) "Come on Einstein, it's stupid to fight over a little thing like this" when Jérémie gets mad at Odd for insinuating that he gave Aelita the necklace, but he goes and has a fit when anyone looks at Yumi... Then later Jérémie comes back and says the same thing to Ulrich! That was good.

"I figured you were like all the other girls." - William (real smooth...)

Ulrich's poem ends with
"With you I never feel gloomy, my dear uh, Sissi."
Oh boy...

And of course, Sissi's classic "Open it, stupid!"

So, tell us already -- how do you like watching C:L episodes for the second time?
-
As for moi, I enjoy the second time as much as the first. I catch a lot of things that I missed the first time, especially subtle dialog things that often are quite funny, or that clarify things somewhat.
-
That's why I don't avoid "spoilers" -- good entertainment doesn't have to rely entirely on the impact of surprises and plot twists. Looking forward to something that you know is going to come up is a lot of fun too.
-
(HOWEVER, I would prefer for CN to show things in order!) :sm27:

Ah! Watching St. Val's Jour for the second time. Cool quote:
-
Ulrich, sneaking around in Yumi's house to steal some clothes, can hear a "discussion" in an adjoining room:
-
Mrs. Ishiyama: ...You don't pay me any attention! You don't listen to me anymore!
Mr. Ish: I'm sorry -- what did you say? :sm27:

Also, something like "My mother told me not to marry a man from Tokyo!"
I like watching it the second time. I'm picking up things I may have missed or just getting a good look at stuff a second time. Like Sissi dressed up like Yumi!

I noticed those the first time. Though it was funny. ^_^

Urlich's poem was so totally for Yumi.  Yumi's kind of slow on the uptake if she couldn't hear that. ^_^
