Good News #2: On Saturday I am going to drive up to a city called Chandler and attend a meeting featuring a guy who has restored a couple of real-live old streamlined Pennsylvania Railroad diesel locomotives. As a Pennsy fan, I'm excitapated....

Bad news: She still lives in Illinois and had to go back today.

Bad News: Crikey, the keyboard on my faithful portable had started missing the letter "o" and I had to keep going back and hammering it in. I thought I was in trouble!

Good News: I yanked the "o" cap and vacuumed the whole keyboard and then gave it some good squirts with a filtered compressed-air gun. It worked, and the big-O is back! Whew!

It's been another typical computer-filled weekend for me. Here goes:

Bad news: My computer is 5 years old and making a horrible, high-pitched whine.
Good news: I bought a 300gig hard drive to replace the original, 40 gig one. (I also have a 120gig drive.)
Bad news: The new hard drive didn't fix the whine.
Good news: The 40gig drive isn't dead yet, so I can still use it!
Bad news: I bought a spindle of DVD-Rs to back up my 120 gig hard drive. ... They don't work with the DVD burner I borrowed from work.
Good news: My computer still works even though I did some major work on it! So all in all, I think I came out on top.

Good News, I got to stay home today.
Bad News, My temperature is two degrees below normal, 98.6 F or about 36.8.
More Good News, my Chihuahua has had puppies today.
More Bad News, I have too many, about 10 or so dogs in TOTAL..

Good News: Today, False Start has aired, meaning the 2nd Season starts again.
Bad News: Less of return to the past, meaning less continuity fun, AND less of the Lyoko Team defying the others. And, If they had used the RTTP function more, the series would progress quite quickly in production, don't you think?

Good news: I got off work an hour early today!
Bad news: I had to go in to work an hour early...
