Canceled! There was production for season six, but it looks like...oh lord this is terrible. The last episode was today and while it was a great episode, it was terribly depressing. Please help.

I just got interested in Teen Titans just few months ago, and now they cancel it on me. Great.

I think my favorite thing about T.T. is the way Puffi Ami Yumi pronounce the word "Ti-tans" during the theme music. Well, there's Terra to appreciate, too....
-
But it's strange that they are canceling it, considering how much they have been showing it during recent months -- like, many times per day. Maybe it has something to do with contracts and boardrooms, rather than audience demand. Image (Or maybe Hayze jinxed it.... ;) )

Hmm, Terra. I liked the shows she was in,,, but I'm a Raven fan. :p

I doubt they could ever top last season. This seson was kinda flat but I'm glad Jinx switched sides,,, always liked her.

It seemed like it was one of their most popular shows, though I never paid much attention to the ratings. I'm sure it was some kind of inner corp decision. First Justice League now teen Titans. It's almost as if they're pulling out of DC comic characters altogether.

Worse, they seem to be pushing Ben 10 as a replacement. It isn't very good, but not total crap.
And Fantastic Four is on it's way, but I never really liked them.

Geez, Ben 10 -- yet another magical-kid, saving the world while having problems in real life.
-
Danny Phantom, American Dragon, Atomic Betty, Martin Mystery, Juniper Lee, Teenage Robot, Get Ed, Monkey Hyperforce, Robot Boy -- all pretty much the same pattern. I am going to start a notebook to keep track of which kid has which powers and which enemies.
-
Actually I watch very little of them -- what I know is mostly from the station promos I see while waiting for Billy and Mandy. But I do watch XJ9 (Teenage Robot) because she is so likeable, and the three guys that hang around her are pretty funny.
-
Getting back to T.T., I am not sure who Image Jinx is, but if that is the girl who has the "horns" of hair sticking out to each side, I agree that she is really neat!

They canceled Justice League?! I watched that show irregularly! It was great! Ah man...

Is it Antefilms' Fantastic Four?

My life as a Teenage Robot is cool, but there aren't many episodes, I don't think. Billy and Mandy is cool! That's one of my favorite shows on Cartoon Network. Have you seen this? - Grim Tales From Down Below (and it's earlier counterpart: PowerPuff Girls Doujinshi)

Do you know who the girl on the last page of PPGD is? I couldn't figure out.

Yes, Antefilms. I'm curious how well they'll do. Unless it's as bad as "Spiderman and Friends" I'll watch at least some of it.

It's been a long time since I looked in on PPGD, the art is great but the story drug on. I was always hoping Jenny/XJ9 would get a bigger part.

The girl at the end is appearently Olga, Mandarks sister.

I haven't been interested in Teen Titans after the Raven arc (Birthright, etc.). I thought that one was pretty good. The Terra arc was good the first time, but I think they played that too much. I don't really want to see it end, though.

They sure aren't acting like they're canceled. There is a promo on CN now about new hours, etc., for Miguzii, and the Titans are included. (The promo ends with a short-but-nice shot of virtualized-Odd, too.)
-
Today they had the first part of an episode I've never seen, about Terra showing up as a mysterious schoolgirl, a la Talia/Aelita. (But I prefer Terra in her fightin' uniform....)
-
Old half-bronze-face showed up too, in the flashbacks. Slade? or Slate? Anyhoo, I find him EXTREMELY tedious. In fact being tired of him is the main reason I got away from watching the T.T.'s on any regular basis -- that, and the fights that last 'way too long and get boring. But as long as they stay on BeastBoy and the beautiful ladies, I'll keep going back. Image

That was the last episode. It's not off air, but production for season six was halted.

Terra in the schoolgirl outfit was a cute touch, but that whole end was flat and anticlimactic. Then again, I don't think I've seen an end show that really lived up to a show I liked. I think by that time the writers have lost interest in being creative so they crank out a contract fulfillment and go home. After "Birthright", nothing else was ever going to be as good.

Surely you meant to say, Image "Except for CL #26 and #52, I don't think I've seen an end show that really lived up to a show I liked." O, say it's so!

:D Since there is yet to be another season, 26-52 doesn't count as an end show for me. I'm talking complete end never to be seen as a series again sort of thing.

I noticed that Teen Titans wasn't on Toonami last night! Does this have to do with that?

Yeah, that show was more weird than funny. It kinda reminded me of those Chinese programs with the terrible animation super powered
kung fu stuff I see when I go over my grabdma's.

Hey, I caught a TTs a couple of days ago where ALL of the Titans were turned into animals. I hated the story (and the exaggerated villain), but I LOVED the artwork on the Pussycat and the Bunnyrabbit! Stand by for smileys of those two, for sure....

(I was trying for an episode that includes Terra, but am having trouble catching one!) Image

Wulin Warriors. It's from Taiwan which, depending on who you ask, may or may not be part of China. That was probably the most horrible thing I've seen in months. Apparently it's pretty hot stuff in Taiwan, but not many people like it here. Get ready for 13 episodes of it.

That was truly painful to watch, but from what I've been reading, the English dialogue made no attempt to stay true to the original Taiwanese show. Scars,,, scar, chaged sides not once but several times in the show. And they really need to forget the hiphop idea, for any show. Though I can tolarate the little there is in Samurai Champloo

I agree, Kagetsu, it was pretty awful. I thought Samurai Champloo was pretty decent. It was interesting though. I felt like there was so much hype about Samurai Champloo and how it's totally hip hop and supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced fish, but it wasn't THAT hip hop and seemed to fall flat.

Image YAY! Today Miguzi showed the TT episode entitled "Terra", and I got the recorder going before too much went by. Geez, is she great -- I just wish she'd stay away from ol' Bronze-Puss!

Is that the one she is running from the big scorpion? If so, That's the first time we see Terra. They stayed reasonably true to the original comics for her, I was somewhat surprized at the out come.
(spoiler)Her destiny is to betray the Titans to Slade, but in the end, she redeams herself.(spoiler)

Yeah, it must be popular there. If you ever see it in live action it's funnier, even without being able to understand the language.

(For those with fast connections) I've not tried any of these. (Wulin Warriors)
