I'm going nutzo here. I want to listen to Tchoucky's rendition of Pesme's English lyrics, available on the CL Site, but my dial-up is so slow that it will take well over an hour to download a four-minute song. Furthermore, it is only being downloaded into a buffer for whatever Windows is going to use to play it, which means I won't even be able to keep it after I have listened to it. That's an awful long download for something I won't even be able to go back to the next day!

Does anyone know how I can just DOWNLOAD the file, without getting involved with the player? I've tried every kind of right-click menu, etc. but haven't succeeded. (The reason I don't know what I am doing is that I haven't ever done anything with MP3 files. I only listen to music on DirecTV's audio channels, not on the net.) :pleur:

There's something else that bugs me -- when you are thinking of buying software via downloading, or in the case of this MP3 buffering, they don't tell you what the size of the file is going to be. Even after they start, about all you get is a wildly inaccurate estimate of how much longer it is going to take.

Anyway, thanks Olivier. I can download 7 MB in the wee hours of the morning, especially for such a good cause as Tchoucky's warbling, but I still have the problem of not being able to get it onto my hard disk to keep it.

If you right-click on the link, you do tell your browser where you want to download the file...

Thanks to Olivierito, I've nabbed Tchoucky's English-lyric song. It only took two tries (the first attempt bombed off after 330 Ko, the second one succeeded, in almost exactly an hour of downloading.)

Geez, I wasn't expecting all that heavy instrumental and choral background! But Tchoucky's voice (and accent) were très charmant! :bise: I'll talk to her about it more, in MP, but I must admit that now I am going to try some of her français songs too. Eartha Kitt, look out! (My ISP is probably gonna dump me, with all this moonlight downloading....)

Crikey, I checked them several times, carefully scanning the exact syntax -- including case!! I just couldn't see that dratted "R". :NRV:

Say, Benjeremie asked me about the lyrics of the English version of the CL opening theme so, being that I've had trouble understanding them myself, I did some Googling and came up with a couple of versions that didn't agree completely with each other. Thennnnn, using printouts of them as a starting point, I cranked up my .WMV of episode-39 and listened closely, over and over, until I believe I've got it right.

Close, but with a few changes. I prefer the a world without danger from the French lyrics, but prefer the English Code Lyoko refrain. I could transcribe the rest os the song if anyone wants it,,, given enough time. I can also propably still dig up the MoonScoop link where it was for playing.

I wasn't able to get to your old video (my internet blocked it.... :roll:

), but I found another one on Youtube just by searching, I'm pretty sure it was yours, but posted after you put the first one up on here. Idk, maybe I'm wrong, but are you XANAComputer? That's who made the one I found. I never really liked the Subsonics song until I heard the words. Where did you find the CD? I haven't been able to find it in stores, just online. :cry:

I really liked your video though! Where did you get the clips in the beginning? That one with the black and white door with the X.A.N.A eye? And what episode has the evil, Zombie Jeremie? I haven't seen it....though I'll admit I liked the hair.... :lol:
