Does anyone know on what basis some subject titles are colored cyan-blue, and others are still whitish? I haven't been able to catch any pattern to it, like amount of traffice or recentness of activity, and I haven't been able to find anything about it in the Help areas.
-
It's probably obvious, but I can't spot it. :sm27:

We have changed color of some subjects because we think they're are important. (like CL season 2)
We thought that when new members come here, they are able to see immediatly what's important

but you can tell us if we have forgotten one that you judge important ;)

Thanks, Clem, we'll see if our Garooobian leader has any wishes.
(Geez, your anglais is PERFECT in that post! What are you trying to to -- make us feel inadequate? (erf, erf)) :sm27:

The Garooob says he hasn't been able to get onto yumi2004 for about four days now. How miserable, but I didn't know what to tell him other than that it's working for the rest of us, and "good luck!"
Any ideas, anyone? Image

Still no Rooobs! I wonder what's up with his connection.
-
I tried to send him an e-mail with the button on his posts, so it would come from yumi2004, but it doesn't respond. It doesn't respond for others, either. I tried Pesme's e-mail button and got the same lack of response. So that didn't prove anything....

This is a screenshot of what I get when I go to the index of Yumi2004. It's a step above what I was getting a few days ago, which was nothing at all; just a blank page. My ISP is Cox Cable and my IP address starts with 68.110.
I got to the forum by going to le "Liste des Membres," found my name, clicked "Trouver tous les messages de garooob" and went to my latest post.
On an unrelated note, I have massive computer problems. My computer wouldn't boot, so now I'm rockin' a 500mhz Pentium III I got from work... Monday, I have to get a PS/2 keyboard from work so I can go into the bios and activate the secondary IDE channel. Then I'm going to transfer all the files on my 40gig hard drive to my 120gig hard drive and see if I can't get that thing to boot.
I need to channel my inner Jérémie to get out of this without spending any money!

PS - While I'm posting this, I think daylight savings time went into action on the forum and it's saying the posting date is 1/2 hour before my last post and it's not letting me post! It says "Vous ne pouvez pas poster un autre sujet en si peu de temps après le dernier, veuillez réessayer dans un court instant."

Wouldn't you know it! Rooob and Olivier are the ones to get into the postings despite the problems. (Thanks to Garooob for giving me the link to get in.) Anyway, guys, it must be nice to know what the heck you're doing....
-
I hope our leaders can get yumi2004 straightened out without any losses. Bon courage to them! :sm27:

There are several pages of exchange between Quentin, Olivier, and others about the recovery, in subj: Post pour Log des crash du forum et de son serveur…, in the French Aide section (http://yumi2004.celeonet.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1532&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15)

I'm not all that great at either French or System-ese, but it's interesting.

Hey, manson! How ya been? We've missed you. We had some problems getting in to the site a few days ago, but they're all cleared up now.

I want a house! Actually, my parents are going to retire in a few years and reclaim their condo, so I don't really have a choice!

That has to have been Louna's forum. I know you have too much school work to even think about taking on another forum, but I would have loved it if you had joined up, there. I'm the only gars among a bunch of really nice filles, and I could use some help in kidding around with them. It's really the only forum besides yumi2004 that I post on regularly, and it's a lot of fun.
-
Have you been able to catch any episodes of Saison-2? It's really excellent (usually) and we are having a good time with it. "Like, check it out, man!"
-
Have you won the Nobel Prize for studenting yet? You're on the fac by now, I'm sure. A 100/100 grade average, of course. Keep up the good work!
Nice to hear from ya! Image
-
edit: Be sure to check out all the nice screenshots of your girl, Yumi, in our "Characters" section. There are lots of "close-ups" of her beautiful face, as virtualized on Lyoko. Geez, she's beautiful!

Some day when you have the time, STP tell us more about your studies. What degree you are working on -- what courses you are taking -- etc.
-
I seem to remember your saying that you want to cut people open and peer about inside, or whatever. As for courses, I presume you are taking the difficult subjects, like underwater basket-weaving, porno analysis, submarine spotting, and badminton. And there's that course on corn-kernel counting, for which you already had 100/100 in the prerequisite, corn-picking. Ahhh, school days!

Well, be jolly, bon courage, etc., etc. Image

In college, I took tennis, fencing, drawing, racquetball, photography and bowling! Although, those only accounted for 8 of my 133 credit hours...
