"Temptation" was on DirecTV's guide too, so I started my recorder on it, just in case. But, TWENTY-eight instead of THIRTY-eight appeared on the title screen. (sob, snif) Gosh, this is really weird! Image

Logbook is one of the best, though!

Oh man, those voices from the first five episodes or so are waaaaaay different. Jeremie's mostly, but in Logbook I noticed Odd's.

Congrats Rooob! Well Yumi's voice is off too, but not as much.

Yesterday was Attack of the Zombies. No one had anything to say about it, not surprisingly. I myself didn't even watch it.
Today was Ultimatum. I still like seeing Sissi acting nice!

2 things:
1. Did you know that Code Lyoko isn't close captioned?
2. Shoot, I forgot. I know I'll remember it as soon as I post this.

I, for one, sure do. I often use CC to compensate for my bum hearing, and have wished many times that it were available with CL. I like to use it the second time I watch something, to fill in some of my blanks.
-
I am always somewhat shocked when I find that some kids' programming is not captioned. Image

Lucky it was only a rerun, eh? If that had been the premier of #38, you would have been justified in going ballistic.

As for moi, I am making no effort to watch the reruns, although I do turn on the beginning, in case the guides were wrong and one of the "missing-four" is on. But I've just gone through all of the season-2 episodes in detail, getting screenshots for the CL Site, and watching those episodes again this soon would be risking burnout. (All those screenshots in our Characters section are a byproduct of that project, in case anyone was wondering what had come over me.) Image

Ok, CN is trying again. In 2 weeks (Nov. 25th), Miguzi is having a Code Lyoko marathon. The episodes are (supposedly...) Attack of the Zombies, The Chips are Down, TEMPTATION and Contact. Cross your fingers...

YES and YES....
-
"Chips..." is #35, which we saw on Thursday, 29 Sep. It's the one about Ricky playing the lottery. "Chips"? Gambling? Lottery? Cute?
-
"Contact" is #50, our "next" one. Image

I know what Yumi's dad is going through in that episode; job hunting sucks.
He should have gotten a job with Nissan-Renault!

You know, for as well as the Lyokids do, they're not a very coherant team. For example, in Deja Vu, Aelita doesn't go deactivate the tower, she goes to sector 5. Then she stays and looks for data when Jérémie tells her to leave. Then J tells Ulrich and Yumi to drag her out of there, but they instead protect her from the Mantas.
And then there's those times where they all but disown team members, like when Ulrich uses the return to the past function to win the lottery for Yumi's family.
Come on, guys, let's work together here!

My sentiments exactly. And you didn't mention the worst situation of all: the treatment of Jer during the "cellular damage" scandal. Very bratty conduct.... Image

Team work is all about standard training, each has a job for a stituation, and everyone knows what each will do. but it's rigid.

I've always had the feeling that everyone, including XANA, is learning just what they can do. Jeremie is over protective of Aelita and hasn't seen that she is beginning to take more control of herself. Yumi and Ulrich see this and can make the decision to trust Aelita choice a little longer, at least till things start going wrong. Everyone acts independent and doesn't always make good choices. And they still aren't really sharing all their feelings with eachother so sometimes they make assumptions that are wrong, even childish.

Franz Hoppper was a little disturbing. They should have been far more questioning of him, and were wAy too ready to blame Jeremie. But it was good as Aelita came to his defense and how as he figured out the XANA trap, he was still there for them when they needed him.

Very good analysis, Kagetsu. I guess they are only 12-14 and I'm 23 and have had more experiance. Ulrich plays soccer, though. He should make them run set patterns or something. Lyoko practice would be interesting.

19 minutes--better not be Yu-Gi-Oh GX! The guide even lists the episodes, so I'm worried.

GAH! What?! I didn't notice it in the first run! STUPID DUB IMPLIES THE SHOW DOESN'T TAKE PLACE IN FRANCE! Milly or Tamia were interviewing Sissi in Attack of the Zombies and asked her about the principal setting up an extange program with France. As if they don't live in France! Oh noez!!!

ah, that's what I needed, I can color match on forums that I can access the style sheet but my coloreye isn't good at matching

One time, I saw an article that Antefilms used a (very expensive) motion track system to use a real person to move the characters. It didn't say if they used different people for each character and I don't know if they're using the same system for season two. The detail is amasing. I was rewatching Contact, and Aelita actually had to brush aside the tails of Ulrich's headband as they blew in her face as they rode to the tower.

I'm a little weak on some of that stuff, so I could be wrong.

FTP is just a fast way to transfer files to the server. If you have spare server space you can do it. Music and video files are to large to host like imageshack. I do know of a few places that a video file can be posted and viewed, Mypartypost.com is one I see being used but don't know how it works.

You could be a poet with those rhymes, if only you could make more sense. *cough* That is to say, I do not understand your question. The pictures aren't directly from Antefilms. :?

Message 30 Nov 2005, 05:11

ok is this a little easier for you to understand.
Where can I find these kinds of pictures. and is there anywhere that anyone knows of that has Code Lyoko video clips spacifically the Xana's Kiss episode.

I'm going out of my mind wanting to see that episode huge J/A fan if you can't tell.
