I think EVERYTHING about Earth-Aelita's appearance was better in season-1 (but even a messed-up Aelita is still devastatingly appealing.)

I could understand Ulrich's kamikazi cone attack, but Yumi, usually so good at hiding her emotions was not a happycamper at all. That poor transmission. Don't they have the "Don't drive angry" speech in France [/lol] Why Aelita's unhappy I have no idea, a knew experience should thrill her no end.

Two things I miss from season 1, Aelita's cuter look. Her hair was much nicer and her outfit was tops. The pink hoody is cute, the rest is just a little frumpy.
And Yumi's sweater fluff for her beginning scan. Both her and Aelita's hair just doesn't look right. But they at least kept the last part for Yumi when her hiar goes strait up. I love that part and I think that was a hold over strait from Garage Kids.

I agree though she's still cute.

(I saw those images and thought YaY, I love those expressions in the car,,,What kind of car was that again?,,, anyway, then I saw the watermark right across the middle and was just devasted. Why on earth bother even posting screenshots only to mangle them. :cry:

Not sure where to post this, so I'll put it in merchandise...It kinda fits...Anime Insider magazine had a little blurb on Code Lyoko...Apparently Tolstoy wrote a book called Aelita, about a scientist who falls in love with a robot/virtual girl. I ordered it so I can read it...I'll pass it on to garooob when I'm done. ^_^ I didn't know anything about the book!

Am I the only one who doesn't like Aelita as a human? I mean, it's okay that she's, um, whatever the opposite of virtualized is, but I wish she was created on Lyoko. That idea got disproven in season two, but I don't think it was a good choice to make her Hopper's daughter.

No, I mean the fact that she's a human, not that she's devirtualized. There's more room for great storylines with virtual creations becoming actual life.

I always thought it was wAy cool that she was an accidental creation of the supercomputer and her friends were fighting as much to give her a real life as save the world. But if she was simply a program created to maintain Lyoko as XANA/Hopper said she was, that was a major disappointment.

In the end, when she found out that she was Hoppers daughter, and she was stunned and angered that her human life was taken away by him and she was resigned that her one purpose was to now destroy her fathers creation, alone, yet her friends stood by her... that was beautiful. And it gets rid of the problem that life can be created from lifelessness,,, and she looks really cool in a swim suit and still has that wonderment of learning to be human

In the future, do you think Aelita will keep the name Stones or will she switch to Hopper? She'd have to keep Stones as long as she's in school, but after that, I think she'll stay Stones because she doesn't like the fact that she's Hoipper's daughter.
